Trae Young Wins Eastern Conference Player Of The Week Award

Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks are winners of four in a row and are looking to keep the streak alive. Earning Player of the Week honors for a second time this season. Young in those stretch of games averaged 31.3 points, nine assists and 4.0 rebounds across 36 minutes per game.


Young scored 30-plus points in three of the four games, including a 37-point performance against the Timberwolves on Wednesday. Sunday Young scored 30 points including 8 threes to beat Hornets 113-91 The Hawks (21-25) are currently the 12th seed in the East standings only 2.0 games behind the 8th seed.


On the season Young is averaging 28.0 points per game along with 9.3 assists.

Atlanta will be back in action Wednesday night when they will be back home to face the Sacramento Kings and to keep the win streak alive to five.
